I urge you to vote on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) later today. It’s an NDAA that, if passed, House Republicans will merge with the SAVE Act, Trump’s craven attempt to restrict voting access ahead of the midterm elections, through an underhanded procedural trick. It’s an NDAA that includes a one-of-a-kind provision to effectively fuse the U.S.-Israeli militaries and weapons industries, giving the Israeli government unprecedented leverage over the Pentagon’s priorities. It’s an NDAA that authorizes an eye-popping $1.1 TRILLION for the Pentagon, a down payment for more of Trump’s violence as he continues to wage an illegal war on Iran. This year’s NDAA cannot pass. Support democracy!
