Support Stop the Steal Act to protect Treasury data

The recent revelations about the Trump administration's attempts to unlawfully access and potentially exploit the Treasury Department's payment system are extremely concerning. This system contains sensitive personal information for Social Security recipients, Medicare beneficiaries, taxpayers, businesses, non-profits, veterans, and everyday Americans. Allowing unauthorized individuals to gain access to this data would be a severe violation of privacy and public trust. It is critical that we take immediate action to prevent this unacceptable breach from occurring. The proposed Stop the Steal Act would help safeguard the integrity of the Treasury payment system and protect the confidential data of millions of Americans. Raiding government agencies and attempting to steal taxpayer money and information is unconscionable and un-American. I urge you to support the Stop the Steal Act and any other measures necessary to secure the Treasury Department's systems and data. We cannot allow the personal information of American citizens to be compromised for political gain or any other nefarious purposes. Decisive action is needed to uphold the rule of law and ensure the government remains accountable to the people it serves.
