I will work tirelessly to vote you out of office if you vote yes on this spending bill. The nonpartisan analysis shows it will add over $3 trillion to federal deficits, largely from extending unaffordable tax cuts for the wealthy, while imposing draconian cuts to Medicaid that could deprive 11.8 million Americans of health coverage. This fiscally reckless legislation sacrifices vulnerable constituents to pay for more handouts to the rich. I cannot support representatives who back such misguided and harmful policies at the expense of their own people.
