The May 1, 2026, deadline for the war in Iran is a significant legal milestone under the 1973 War Powers Resolution, which requires the President to obtain congressional authorization within 60 days of initiating hostilities. Stop the war! Enforce the War Powers Resolution: State that today, May 1, is the 60-day deadline, and without a vote from Congress, the war is now legally unauthorized. vote "NO" on any supplemental funding packages for the Pentagon that would continue the conflict. The Constitution grants the power to declare war exclusively to Congress, and unilateral action by the executive branch undermines democratic oversight. I totally object to MY Taxpayer dollars being spent on this illegal War of Trumps Choice. Putting our military lives in danger, killing civilians, skyrocketing gas prices and global instability, are reasons to seek a permanent diplomatic end rather than a resumption of hostilities With your constitutional duty and Power over the POTUS' abuses of power REPRESENT "WE THE PEOPLE" AND SPEND OUR MONEY TO ENRICH AND IMPROVE OUR LIVES!
