Let me preface my request by saying that I have seen how Trump tends to leave Congress out of the equation when making decisions. Let that not be an excuse for letting issues slide. As you know,Trump is currently deciding whether to join Israel in war against Iran. He has also said that he would not start any "forever" wars. He is also saying that "no one knows what (he) is going to do" and that he will decide"in the next couple of weeks" and probably "at the last minute". I have no doubt that he would simply give the order without consulting Congress since he tends to act spontaneously. Please do not wait for this issue to come before Congress! Make your voices known now! While I agree with Trump that Iran should not have nuclear weapons, I do not agree that we should enter a conflict that could well become the World War III that he has said he wants to avoid. I am concerned that Trump is burning and or has already burned our bridges with our allies and that may even be the reason that this conflict has risen at this time. Please stand up proactively against our involvement in this war. Thank you for your consideration.
