Protect Haitian Ohioans!

To: Sen. Wilson, Gov. DeWine, Rep. Mathews

From: A verified voter in Lebanon, OH

February 3

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., Ana Reyes, approved a request to temporarily halt the planned termination of Temporary Protected Status for Haitian nationals, which had been set to take effect Feb. 3. If that safeguard were lifted, Haitians covered by TPS in the U.S. could be at risk of removal to Haiti. Our Haitian neighbors are still likely to become the next targets of ICE's cruelty and illegal actions. I strongly urge you to act now to put safeguards and protections in place for Ohio's immigrant communities. These people are NOT criminals. They help make Ohio great!
