I would like to strongly encourage you to keep fighting the Trump administration. At some point they will come for people’s basic rights and it may start small, with threats. Please resist giving in. Every inch they get they will creep closer to authoritarian rule. Thank you for all you do!! And please know your constituents support and rebellion you mount. I want to encourage you to fight for the University of Oregon and all universities in the state. The president will come after the rights of students and educators and already has. Researchers are losing funding and graduate students are being deported. We need all the rebellion and resistance we can muster because soon it may be too late. Our education system is so precious. Thank you! Whatever fights you take on, know your citizens support you.
