Vote No on permit act

To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Graham

From: A constituent in Charleston, SC

December 12

I understand that the House voted yesterday to pass the PERMIT Act, a terrible bill that would curb states’ authority to block pipeline construction. It would also add new limits on environmental suits and restrict the EPA’s ability to veto Army Corps of Engineers water permits, making it more difficult for states to reject pipeline projects on Clean Water Act grounds. This is horrifying; I expect the Senator to vote no on this bill. Clean air and water for me and my family is a top priority. Thanks.
