Congress must immediately intervene to halt the Administration’s pursuit of Greenland. Under no circumstances can the United States be permitted to initiate aggression against a NATO ally. I urge you to introduce and pass legislation explicitly restricting military action or funding for this purpose. Should the President defy the will of Congress and the law, you must fulfill your constitutional oath to impeach, convict, and remove. The United States requires a force of vision stronger than regressive nostalgia and imperial fantasies. We have moved past worrying about mere reputation; the very promise of life, liberty, and happiness is at risk. I ask you to exercise the power vested in you to check this executive overreach and preserve the promise of liberty for future generations.
