Stop Defending Sex Abusers
To: Rep. Crank
From: A constituent in Monument, CO
September 3, 2025
I am writing to urge you in the strongest terms to sign the discharge petition and support the **Epstein Transparency Act**, which mandates that all federal agencies release *unredacted* information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
This is not a partisan issue. This is about justice, transparency, and accountability. If the heinous crimes committed by Epstein and his network had involved your family members—or the families of your colleagues in Congress—I have no doubt that you would already be demanding full disclosure. So why should the American people accept anything less?
The Department of Justice’s current efforts are not only inadequate—they are offensive. The so-called "disclosures" to the Oversight Committee consist largely of documents that have already been released, now with *even more* redactions than before. These are not actions meant to inform or protect the public. These are efforts to shield the guilty.
By continuing to support or defend the DOJ’s handling of this matter, your office is participating—knowingly or not—in the protection of serious offenders. This is unacceptable.
The only acceptable course of action now is full support for the **Epstein Transparency Act** and the discharge petition that would allow it to proceed. The American people deserve to know who enabled, facilitated, and covered up these crimes—and how deep this corruption runs.
I respectfully ask you to stand on the side of transparency and justice. If Congress cannot deliver that, what is its purpose?
