An Open Letter

To: Rep. English, Gov. Polis, Sen. Exum

From: A constituent in Colorado Springs, CO

July 27

Drought task force has recommended reducing water usage because we are in the midst of a record breaking drought. So why are we entertaining more new data centers? Or more unneeded residential construction, for that matter? It is idiotic and unethical to further tax our already strained water supply, and the only possible motivation is greed. We the voters demand a moratorium on new residential building and new data centers. Do the right thing! Heck, just do your jobs! Represent your constituents by easing the demands of our seriously depleted water reserves. No new anything that requires more water!!
