Title: Opposing the "Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act" The "Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act" undermines principles of equality and inclusion in sports. This legislation arbitrarily defines gender based solely on reproductive anatomy, disregarding the complexity of gender identity. Such a narrow definition fails to account for the diversity of lived experiences and discriminates against transgender and intersex athletes. Sports should celebrate the human spirit of competition, not police gender boundaries through exclusionary policies rooted in prejudice. True protection comes from fostering an environment of respect and fairness for all athletes, regardless of gender identity or expression. I urge you to reject this misguided bill that undermines athletic integrity and human rights.
