As your constituent, I respectfully and strongly urge you to vote ‘no’ on the ESA Amendments Act of 2025. I support effective conservation policy, I am concerned that this legislation would weaken key protections under the Endangered Species Act and undermine science-based decision-making. In particular, the proposed changes risk reducing safeguards for vulnerable species and their habitats at a time when biodiversity loss is accelerating. I respectfully ask that you oppose this bill and instead support measures that strengthen, rather than dilute, the effectiveness of the ESA.
