Block the Office of Management and Budget's unlawful funding freezes now. OMB does not have the authority to unilaterally withhold congressionally appropriated funds. When Congress passes a budget and the President signs it, that money must be spent as directed. An executive agency overriding that process isn't a policy disagreement — it's a constitutional violation.
These cuts have real consequences. Programs that communities depend on — housing assistance, public health funding, education grants — are being strangled not by a vote of Congress but by an administrative memo. That is not how our government is supposed to work, and I expect you to say so loudly. Use every tool available: demand hearings, support legal challenges, and make clear that this branch of government will not cede its power of the purse without a fight.
