I applaud Governor Newsom's initiative to protect California's population and interests against the incoming Trump administration. As a legislative elected, I need that visibility and voice to come from every official within California. Our loved ones need to know that they're safe from federal overreach, whether it's on a healthcare level, immigration level, or education level. Please communicate with your constituency about what you intend to do to help protect these rights on a local level. Californians must stand united -- the country is looking to us for leadership and safety in an uncertain time!
