I am writing to you with profound worry about what will happen to our local hospitals and medical system if Medicaid and Affordable Care Act subsidies aren’t funded. I remember the days before the ACA when millions of Americans had no access but the ER for care. This cost more for everyone. This doesn’t need to be a right/left issue, can’t we just agree we need a healthy society to be productive?
