The American people are not blind, and we are not stupid. We can see the writing on the wall: this administration, through deliberate provocation and reckless escalation, is inching us toward an avoidable war with Iran. Whether through unauthorized military strikes, belligerent rhetoric, or strategic sabotage of diplomatic channels, every move appears calculated to light a match in a room full of gasoline.
You were not elected to be complicit in sleepwalking us into another endless war. Your job is to act, and to act now. Congress must immediately:
• Reassert its constitutional authority over war powers. No president—this one least of all—should be allowed to unilaterally plunge us into another disaster without a formal vote.
• Demand full transparency and intelligence accountability for any military actions taken against Iran or its proxies.
• Publicly oppose further troop deployments, base buildups, or funding for covert operations designed to manufacture consent for war.
• Halt arms sales and military support to regional actors actively stoking the flames.
Let me be clear: there is no strategic benefit, no humanitarian gain, and certainly no public mandate for war with Iran. The last 25 years have proven that regime-change fantasies and proxy war entanglements only lead to dead Americans, destabilized regions, and emboldened enemies.
Stop negotiating with cowardice and performative diplomacy. Fight like our future depends on it—because it does. Oppose this march to war with every ounce of authority you possess.
