Violence is never the right answer. Either when aimed at political leaders or immigrants or Palestinians or Iranian civilians or women or any American for that matter. Ballrooms are not the answer, it is totally ridiculous that anyone would think that is the answer. Has anyone thought about some very serious gun control. This is the only country where these things happen so regularly. And as for violent rhetoric - please forgive me, but I hear way more of it coming from this administration than any in history. And the GOP never stands up and says it is wrong. I believe Trump was very recently cheering the death of fishermen he has yet to prove are involved in narcotics trafficking, he has cheered at the deaths of many in the Middle East and promised to annihilate and entire civilization. This, my friends, is violent rhetoric. There are many many many many more instances- I would be happy to provide. I have rarely, if ever, heard the president call for less violent rhetoric, unless the threat was against him. He cheers the death of patriots- John McCain, and Robert Mueller, and of famous Americans like Rob Reiner. Yes - we all need to stop the violent talk. Yes - we need gun control NOW.
