I’m writing to express my strong opposition to the Keep America Flying Act which would pay the ATC while neither reopening the government nor paying the rest of the government workers working without pay. If you fund the only pain point (air delays) for the republican members of congress who are fleeing DC instead of doing their jobs you will be giving up the only leverage you have over them. They do not care about healthcare nor staving children. They do not care about ICE becoming the gestapo. They do not care about anyone except themselves. I appreciate the democrats for finally sticking to their beliefs and continuing to advocate for affordable healthcare for the American people. Please continue to hold the line. You cannot fund the government in pieces. The only way the shutdown ended in 2018-2019 was due to ATC delays. Please use this leverage to negotiate an actual budget. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I do appreciate you taking a stand.
