The budget bill is big but it is not beautiful. It includes selling off public lands (a Montana exemption is not enough!) It includes cuts to Medicaid. It decreases funding for special education. It cuts food assistance to the needy. It includes millions of dollars of cuts to Indian country. It reduces PELL grants. And while it decreases funding for the services Montanans rely on, it dramatically increases the national debt. I know you can do better. Please do.
