As your constituent, I am urging you to work to restore full funding and staffing for federal agencies responsible for weather forecasting and climate research. These cuts are hurting our ability to predict extreme weather and protect people from devastating natural disasters. I'm especially mortified by the deadly flash floods in Texas and the lack of advanced warning that was given to the endangered communities. Thank you for your time and consideration.
