Mandate private pilot liability insurance

I am a constituent and while I know legislative session is over, I want to suggest some for next year. There is no federal mandate for private pilot insurance. Only 11 states require it and Washington is not one of them. It is bizarre that we require car/driver insurance but not plane/pilot liability insurance. I suggest we mandate private pilot liability insurance - please consider adding it to your list for next year.
