Medicaid provides essential healthcare and community-based services for over 80 million Americans, including 17 million older adults and people with disabilities. Proposed cuts would devastate this vital program, weakening the service system that allows many to live independently. Caregivers, already struggling financially, would face even greater hardship without Medicaid funding home-based services. There can be no compromise - any cuts will disproportionately harm our most vulnerable citizens, including children. I urge you to fully protect Medicaid from any reductions and ensure continued access to the services millions rely on for their health, wellbeing, and independence.
