I am writing to express my profound disappointment and outrage over your decision to vote in favor of the Republican spending bill. As a constituent who has voted for you twice, I did so in good faith, believing that you would represent my interests and those of the people of Nevada. Instead, your vote on this bill demonstrates a clear betrayal of the trust we placed in you.
Your constituents elected you to stand up for their needs, not to capitulate to Republican priorities that undermine the people who put you in office. By choosing to support this legislation, you have shown that you no longer represent the interests of those who worked to get you elected.
Given this failure of leadership, I urge you to step down from your position. Nevada deserves a senator who will remain steadfast in their commitment to the people, not one who prioritizes political expediency over principle.
