A military parade is an unnecessary expense that siphons funds away from more important priorities during challenging economic times. As representatives, we have a responsibility to direct taxpayer dollars towards initiatives that truly benefit the people rather than indulging in displays of excess. I urge you to reconsider this parade and instead focus resources on addressing the pressing needs of your constituents during this period of recovery.
