An Open Letter
To: Rep. Ciscomani
From: A constituent in Green Valley, AZ
April 16
First, I understand that House Democrats introduced six articles of impeachment against Pete Hegseth yesterday accusing him of abuse of power, war crimes and other serious wrongdoing. He’s obviously guilty of all of it.
I want YOU to support his impeachment.
Second, I strongly oppose a “clean” reauthorization of FISA. Congress should pass a two week stopgap bill and use that time to pass actual reforms that protect Americans’ data. No more “data broker loophole” and no more back-door, warrantless searches. I’ll be watching this vote closely.
Finally, I strongly suspect you voted no on the War Powers Resolution yesterday. You are violating your oath of office by refusing to assume the responsibility, ties assigned to you by the Constitution of the United States that is the law of our land. The only reason you have a job is because you vowed to do that job. You are supporting an illegal war and ignoring the wishes of your constituents who put you in office. We will not forget it in November.
