I need you to explain why you remained silent when Stuart Adams facilitated a change to Utah's statutory sexual assault law that protected a relative. If protecting children is truly your priority, where was your outrage then?
The hypocrisy is staggering. You invoke child protection when it's politically convenient, but when it comes to holding your own accountable, you look the other way. In Utah, 1 in 5 girls is sexually abused. That's not a talking point for campaign ads. That's a crisis demanding consistent action, not selective moral posturing.
Utah families deserve legislators who protect all children equally, regardless of political connections. We deserve representatives who don't weaken laws designed to protect the most vulnerable among us. I want to know what you're doing to reverse the damage done to our statutory sexual assault protections and whether you'll commit to opposing any future attempts to water them down. Your constituents are watching, and we won't accept this double standard anymore.
