"As I have loved you, love one another. This new commandment, love one another. By this shall men know ye are my disciples. If ye have love, one to another." You might recognize this one. You likely sang it as a child. Perhaps you sat in a congregation and watched your child sing it to you. Now its time to stop and do a self check. Are you loving other people? Does your love for others let people know that you are a disciple of Christ? Let's take a look at ICE. Let's take a look at the dept of Homeland Security. Let's take a look at the administration. Are their actions grounded in love? Because from my perspective, killing people in the streets, terrorizing a populace, and blatantly lying to forward an agenda dont have a lot in common wi th love for others. I urge you with every fiber in my being: STAND UP. LEAD. Do not fund Homeland Security. Do not let this egregious overstepping of moral decency continue. Vote NO on any bill that funds Homeland Security and let's ICE continue as is. Let's end with another song you might have heard: "Who's on the Lord's side, who? Now is the time to show." Use your power for good. We are watching.
