We are watching you. And we have been watching. The American people see clearly how this Court has chosen — time and again — to side with power over people, with cruelty over justice, with tyranny over truth. The continued operation of Alligator Alcatraz — a hellish detention facility operating in Florida under the full authority of President Donald J. Trump — is not some isolated or accidental horror. It is the natural extension of the legal, moral, and constitutional decay that this Court has helped legitimize. You have been instrumental in creating this America. You enabled this. Through your rulings, your refusals to intervene, your strategic silence, and your calculated deference to executive power, you have emboldened this administration’s most dangerous instincts: impunity, cruelty, vengeance, and fascism. And now we are living with the consequences. Alligator Alcatraz is not just a violation of immigration law. It is a direct assault on everything the justice system claims to represent. It is a site of: • Racialized state violence and immigrant abuse • Indifference to Indigenous land, sovereignty, and sacred ecology • Environmental degradation and animal exploitation • Erosion of due process and constitutional rights • Weaponization of detention for political theater • Fiscal waste masked as border enforcement You cannot pretend to stand for justice while allowing such a place to operate — especially under a regime that is openly, unapologetically hostile to democracy. You have the power to act. You have the power to stop this — and you choose not to. That choice will define you in history. We demand the immediate dismantling of Alligator Alcatraz and a full reckoning with the unlawful, inhumane policies that allowed it to exist. This is a test of whether the Supreme Court is still capable of defending the Constitution — or whether you’ve surrendered fully to authoritarianism. The time for neutrality is over. The time for hiding behind procedure is over. The nation sees you. The world sees you. History will judge you. Shut it down.
