Please Support the Immigrant Trust Act (S3672/A4987)

To: Gov. Murphy, Sen. Wimberly, Assembly Member Sumter, Assembly Member Abdelaziz

From: A verified voter in Garfield, NJ

January 12

I am a New Jersey resident and constituent writing to urge you to support and advance the Immigrant Trust Act (S3672/A4987). This legislation would codify clear limits on state and local cooperation with ICE, protect sensitive personal data, and help ensure that immigrant communities can interact with law enforcement, schools, and public services without fear. When trust is broken, public safety and public health suffer for everyone. New Jersey should lead by putting these protections into law rather than relying on directives that can be weakened or reversed. I ask that you publicly support the Immigrant Trust Act and work to move it forward this legislative session. Thank you for your time and service.
