Please take immediate action by co-sponsoring and supporting the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (S.J.Res 111 through 116) to block the sale of $20 billion in weapons to Israel! The violence in Gaza, Lebanon and beyond, is escalating daily, and the Israeli military’s actions have violated international law, leading to the loss of thousands of innocent lives, including Americans. It’s deeply concerning that while our government funds this violence, and continued Israeli war crimes , many of our Connecticut citizens, as well as people throughout the US, are struggling with food insecurity, disaster recovery, and a lack of basic services. As a constituent, I am well aware of the inaction on this issue. Now is the time to take a stand, and we ask you, Senator Murphy to: 1. Support S.J.Res 111-116 to block these arms sales. 2. Publicly call for an immediate arms embargo on Israel to prevent further escalation. 3. Demand accountability for Israel’s violations of international law and ensure that our resources are redirected to critical needs here at home. The people of Connecticut, along with the majority of Americans, demand action now. Every day that passes without leadership on this issue costs more lives.
