I am writing again as a constituent of North Carolina because your continued reluctance to demand full transparency from this administration regarding the newly released Epstein-related materials is unacceptable. Every American, REGARDLESS of party, deserves a government that confronts serious allegations openly and without political calculation. Recent disclosures, including communications released by congressional committees, raise legitimate and deeply troubling questions about how much federal officials knew and what actions were taken. Whether or not these materials ultimately establish wrongdoing, the public has a right to the truth, and Congress has a constitutional obligation to pursue it. Your oath is not to a president. It is not to a party. It is to the Constitution and to the people of North Carolina. That means exercising oversight when there is credible evidence of misconduct, resisting attempts to restrict transparency, and ensuring that no office (especially the presidency) is insulated from scrutiny. Instead, what we have seen from you and some of your colleagues is hesitation, deflection, and a willingness to accept limited disclosures that fall far short of what this moment demands. That is not principled leadership. It is abdication. I am calling on you to take concrete action now: 1. Publicly support the full release of all Epstein-related investigative documents, without selective withholding or political filtering. 2. Press for open hearings to determine the extent of any federal involvement, knowledge, or negligence connected to Epstein and his network. 3. Affirm—clearly and without partisan qualifiers—that no elected official or federal employee is beyond accountability. This is not a matter of ideology. It is a matter of rule of law, public trust, and MORAL responsibility.
