I urge you to protect Medicaid and reject the Republican sponsored legislation that is projected to cause 8.6 million people to become uninsured. Policies that reduce access to coverage through Medicaid will lead to higher healthcare costs as preventable emergencies and poor health outcomes become more frequent. Medicaid enables millions of patients: Children, seniors, veterans and people with disabilities to access primary care and improve lives. These services keep children in school, provide cancer screenings, and expand access to care in underserved areas. Save Medicaid.
