Today I learned of an organization called State Futures that is bringing state legislatures across the country together to enact progressive policy. This kind of coordination gives me hope that we can band together to create a bulwark against the dangerous and damaging actions by the federal government. I appreciate the work you have done to make Washington one of the more progressive states and I want to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to protect our people from ICE, defunding transit, and rollbacks of environmental protections.
