SAVE Act
To: Sen. Budd
From: A verified voter in Pittsboro, NC
March 26
I wrote you a message telling you I believe the SAVE Act is unnecessary. That it is in reality an effort to disenfranchise voters. That it will cost both states and voters with fees and compliance cost.
Your response was to say voters have lost faith in election and this will supposedly help with a layer of Federal Government regulation. The only reason people have any loss of confidence in voting is because of false claims by the President and members of congress like yourself who site unsupported and manipulated information that confuses people.
You also fail to understand that elections are the responsibility of the states and not the federal government. This is a case of Federalism.
You say you will consider views like mine that are against this act. I hope you do and stop supporting the SAVE Act and its nefarious agenda.
