The 2020 election was 6 years ago. SIX. And Trump is still carrying on with lies about the election being rigged and he "won" the election. Trump didn't win. You know it, I know it, we all know it. The more Trump claims he "won", the more desperate and ridiculous he sounds. He lost dozens of court cases regarding his lies that he won. Now Trump is pusht the idea of undermining our elections into our heads. He's determined to make the American people buy into his alternate reality, his fantasy land, that our elections aren't safe or secure. He's attempting to rig the midterms because he knows the Republicans stand a strong chance of losing, and if they lose, Trump will finally pay for his crimes. Trump wants to address the nation on Thursday night with his claims of "foreign election interference". Trump wants us to believe that Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are "illegitimate" Senators from Georgia because of '"fraud". There is ZERO proof of this - it is another of Trump's conspiracy theories. Trump is spiraling. Not one news outlet should give Trump coverage where he can spew his lies. As another reminder Congress could stop Trump TODAY. You know Trump is lying. You know he lost in 2020. You know our elections are safe. You know Trump wants to sow doubt in our heads about election integrity because he has the potential to face removal from office. You know Trump is demanding ICE threaten,nintimidate and murder us so we will be afraid to go to the polls in person. You know he is wrongfully insisting that mail-in voting isn't secure. You know Trump is lying. It won't work. The American people are over Trump. Yes, he has his tiny MAGA base who will do whatever they can to "own the libs", even if it means shooting themselves in the foot to do so. But there are more of us than there are of them. It is past time for Congress to stop the lies and the conspiracy theories. The Republicans in Congress look as weak and desperate as Trump does the longer they allow his dangerous rhetoric to continue. If the Republicans had worked together in a functional way and passed legislation that helps Americans instead of showing blind and cowardly loyalty to Trump, the Republicans wouldn't need to resort to cheating in order to "win" elections. You could have done that, but you chose otherwise. You chose to work against us. And now Republicans could pay the price. Stop the lies. Start doing your job of upholding your Oath to the Constitution and providing checks and balances on this unhinged, insane president. You work for us. Please remember that.
