Unlawful attack on another country

To: Sen. Budd, Rep. Harrigan, Sen. Tillis

From: A constituent in Hickory, NC

January 3

I am sicken by the sludge pit the American government has become. Sadly I don't believe we are at bottom yet. I am asking you to let the leader of your party know that we do have laws built upon international order. These laws were agreed upon by most countries with the idea that smaller countries can not be invaded by bigger ones. Sovereignty and boundaries mean something. Our word should mean something. The head of Venezuela is a hideous character. Was he an imminent threat? No. Neither were the boats blown up either. Drugs aren't the issue. If the leader of your party thought that he wouldn't have pardoned the Honduran president or the other 5 he pardoned with drug offenses This is about the leader of your party wanting what Putin is going for. A sphere of influence. I have hopefully explained why arresting Venezuelan president, and his spouse and drugs are not the reason. The leader of your party was talking about oil and governing Venezuela. This move is antithetical to both our constitution and rules of international order. Please speak out in a full throated manner on this outrage. Thank you.
