I am writing today to make clear my firm stance on the abhorrent nature of events taking place in this country. What happened in Minneapolis yesterday was not only evil and disgusting but absolutely preventable. Renee Nicole Good should be alive today. Renee Nicole Good did nothing illegal, and even if she did, she should be alive today. We must act before more lives are lost. God have mercy on the ones we have already allowed by not stopping the evil taking place. We must abolish ICE and we must hold Trump and his followers accountable for the crimes they are committing against the people of this country. This is still our America, but we must act before it is too late. As a citizen of the great state of Colorado, I implore you to stand up for what we know is right and be true representatives and Americans. Please, hold Trump's feet to the fire and stand up so that we may intervene and stop this tyranny. The American people need you to do what is right.
