Block USPS Involvement in Deciding Which States Get Ballots By Mail.

To: Sen. Graham, Rep. Wilson, Sen. Scott

From: A verified voter in North Augusta, SC

June 29

Trump wants to force the USPS to become an election administrator to silence voters and help keep his enablers in power. A new proposed rule would turn the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) into a gatekeeper with the power to stop mail ballots from being delivered. Tens of millions of us vote by mail, and Trump wants to use the USPS to control who votes this November. Trump has ordered the USPS to refuse to send mail in ballots to any persons living in a state that refuses to turn it's voter rolls over to the Trump administration. Voter rolls are meant to be private and secure information and are protected by individual states. Trump is attempting to blackmail state into turning over their rolls, and he wants to weaponize the USPS to accomplish this goal. The USPS is meant to deliver the mail. It is not a pawn and is not supposed to be a political entity in charge of determining who should and shouldn’t get their ballot. Congress must step in and stop Trump and the USPS from interfering with elections!
