I am troubled by reports that NASA has been ordered to remove references to women in leadership, diversity, and inclusion from its websites. This directive undermines the agency's progress in promoting equal opportunities and recognizing groundbreaking achievements by underrepresented groups. NASA's workforce and leadership should reflect the diversity of our nation. Scrubbing mentions of women's contributions and initiatives supporting marginalized communities erases their vital role in NASA's storied history and dampens efforts to inspire the next generation of scientists and explorers. I urge you to speak out against this troubling directive and advocate for NASA to celebrate the achievements of all its personnel, regardless of gender, race, or background. An inclusive NASA strengthens American leadership in space exploration and advances the shared human endeavor of expanding knowledge. Diversity is a source of innovation, not division. Embrace NASA's diversity as a point of pride and competitive advantage.
