I’m writing to oppose H.R. 7296, the SAVE America Act, and any future bills that come to the floor which aim to make voting harder for U.S. citizens. H.R. 7296 and similar bills would disenfranchise voters and is an attack on the constitutional right of states to manage their own elections. Stricter voting laws are expensive and prevent otherwise eligible citizens from exercising their right to vote. This attack on our voting rights must stop. Additionally, I ask that you demand Speaker Mike Johnson be removed from his Speaker position due to his blatant abuse of power in attempting to sneak through this unpopular legislation.
