I’m disgusted and infuriated by ICE’s attacks on America’s immigrant community—especially in Los Angeles. Neighborhoods are being terrorized and families separated. How is this good for anyone? Aside from the fact that it’s cruel and un-American, it’s going to cost us. Immigrants are the backbone of our economy. Entire industries depend on them. Almost all of these people are law-abiding, work and pay taxes. Many of them have been here for decades and have kids who are citizens. It’s inhumane to deport them and the economic consequences will be dire. Congress needs to step in and make this stop. Thanks.
