Constitution over dogma

To: Rep. Moore

From: A constituent in Buckhannon, WV

June 29

Riley, if you can’t understand the basic constitutional principle of separating church and state, then you have no business serving in government. Your job is to represent all Americans—not just those who share your religion. Quoting scripture while voting to gut the social safety net isn’t leadership—it’s hypocrisy. And saying elected leaders “can’t separate faith from duty” is not only wrong, it’s dangerous. If you’re too stubborn—or too clueless—to know the difference between personal belief and public service, then do this country a favor and resign.
