Subject: Protect the USPS and Ensure Reliable Mail Delivery As your constituent I am writing to urge you to take immediate action to protect and strengthen the United States Postal Service (USPS). The Postal Service is an essential public infrastructure lifeline. It provides universal, affordable mail and package delivery to every community - connecting urban centers and rural areas alike. For millions of Americans, seniors, veterans, and small businesses, reliable delivery is vital for receiving prescription medications, paying bills, voting safely by mail, and maintaining local commerce. I ask you to use your position in Congress to: Oppose Privatization: Ensure the USPS remains an independent public establishment of the federal government, free from attempts to privatize its operations. Protect Service Standards: Demand transparency and accountability from postal leadership regarding network consolidations, processing facility changes, and local delivery delays that harm service quality. Ensure Financial Stability: Support legislative solutions and oversight that provide the USPS with the long-term stability it needs to fulfill its universal service obligation without compromising delivery speeds. Our communities depend on a strong, public, and reliable Postal Service. Please let me know what steps you are taking to safeguard the USPS for future generations.
