An Open Letter

To: Rep. Moss, Sen. Pitcher, Gov. Cox

From: A constituent in Holladay, UT

May 8

Please don't allow this data center to be built in our state. There are places in the country that aren't in a crippling drought, that aren't on the edge of losing their lake, that won't be inundated with toxic dust when that happens, but we are right on the edge of crisis in this state already. Let the data centers be built somewhere that won't be impacted so devastatingly by the environmental impacts. Governor Cox said we have an obligation to what data centers be built here, but why do we have an obligation to let our lives be destroyed by something that would have less impact elsewhere? Please don't do this. Please save our lake, our state, and our people. Don't allow the data center to be built here.
