Your vote against collective bargaining rights

To: Rep. Ciscomani

From: A verified voter in Tucson, AZ

December 20

In March, 2025 Donald Trump carried out one of the largest union-busting attacks in U.S. history when his administration stripped two-thirds of the federal workforce of their collective bargaining rights. These workers lost their voice on the job and their ability to advocate for fairness and safety in their workplaces. In December, 2025 Congress had a chance to begin undoing this damage with an amendment that would restore tens of thousands of Department of Defense (DoD) workers’ collective bargaining rights, but you voted against it. I am disappointed in your decision to vote against restoring collective bargaining rights to Department of Defense workers. Workers deserve our rights to be respected and to have a voice on the job to advocate for fairness and safety.
