I am writing today to urge you to act immediately to stop trump and hegseth's illegal attacks on Venezuelan and Columbian fishing boats & small boats, an d now the seizure of a fuel tanker. The boat attacks are unprovoked and are being done without Congressional approval. These actions are tantamount to declaring war on Venezuela. y and morally to give those people due process. It's 100% illegal to just drop bombs on them. This administration has offered no evidence that any of these small boats were carrying drugs, and even if they were our military has a duty, both legall stop to this. This administration is pushing our military members to commit atrocities on Congress's watch. It's Congress's DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY to put an immediate The seizure of the oil tanker today is nothing more than an intentional distraction from the Epstein Files and has the potential to drag our nation into war. trump has also threatened Columbia with similar tactics. This is not a game. These actions are putting our troops in danger, not to mention the presumed innocent victims that are being murdered in our name. Congress must take back its power from this administration. Only CONGRESS has the power to authorize war.
