Reverse the executive order that stripped 3 million acres from Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, and fully fund the National Park Service to protect our public lands. These reductions happened without a public comment period — no input from the communities, tribes, hikers, climbers, or anyone who depends on these places. That's not how decisions about shared national heritage should be made.
The lands cut from monument protection are now open to mining and development. Once that happens, it can't be undone. These are not resources to be extracted for private profit — they belong to all of us. Fight to restore the original boundaries, oppose any legislation that enables exploitation of these newly exposed lands, and push for full NPS funding so our parks, forests, and historic sites get the resources they need to survive.
