In 2020, you rallied under the phrase that the cure must not be worse than the disease. Now, in less than a month, ICE and CBP have murdered 2 US citizens in broad daylight. In the attempt to enforce a nonviolent crime (illegal immigration), federal agents have used lethal force against US citizens exercising their 1st and 2n d amendment rights. If you have any conviction of belief, you must defund ICE. You must call for accountability. Pretti's family has had to watch the same video all of America saw today. They watched their son executed by federal agents. They watch as the federal government tells them their son was at fault. And like all of us, they become disenfranchised by the American dream of freedom. Because we aren't free the minute our people even attempt to hold federal agents accountable. I'm a child of veterans. My father fought in Desert Storm. My grandfather volunteered for multiple tours in Vietnam. My other grandfather LIED about his age to go to war in WW2. An American child, lied at the upper age of his minority to war against fascism. I'm certain you have similar stories in your family. I implore you to remember our connective roots. Murder is not the answer to illegal immigration. It's fascism.
