The troubling domestic violence allegations and behavior between Mayor Spencer Boudreau and his wife are unacceptable. Domestic abuse harms families and erodes the trust and well-being communities depend on. As public officials we must take a firm stand against all forms of violence and abuse, model healthy relationships built on mutual respect and nonviolence, and prioritize supporting survivors over protecting abusers. Mayor Boudreau's alleged actions are a violation of the integrity and ethical conduct expected from our city's leadership. We call for a full investigation and accountability process to address these serious claims in accordance with due process.
